BEING A PART OF THE STORY
Experience
When asked the big question of what I would like to do when I - you can complete the sentence - I have always known that I wanted to be a part of a story. What story, well that depends on who I am asking. I've always been intrigued with people and their fascinating lives, and as I have gotten older, I love telling their stories from a film standpoint. The one commonality with everything that I have done in terms of experience in the media industry is that I am telling a story. Whether that is a director for a Baylor Baseball broadcast, or as a producer on a student short film, or as a newspaper videographer in Kerrville, Texas and as a missionary videographer in Rwanda, Africa. My goal in life is to be a part of the story by telling it to others.
ABOUT ME
Skills and Attributes
Since coming to Baylor University, my skills as both an editor and a videography have dramatically grown stronger each time I sit down to edit a video.
I am advanced on Adobe Premiere Pro, and have been working on the program for the past three years. I know how to create quick and easy content with a fast return rate.
I am advanced with Canva and Adobe Spark, and am starting to learn Adobe After Effects on my own.
I understand how to set up a production studio and use the proper equipment for both studio production and film production.
I am very well organized, know how to keep a schedule, and will make sure everyone stays on track. Most importantly I am a team player and I am ready to serve in any way that I can and push myself to work harder to benefit the team.
One of my best attributes is my ability to create a healthy, easy going, and fun environment. I work hard to stay positive during the difficult moments and also constantly being a light to everyone around me.

MEDIA CENTER
I’ve got a lot going on in my life right now, and invite you to join me on my journey as a student. With a selection of highlights and updates pertaining to my educational development and film projects, I’m proud to share the stories detailing my work, my professional growth, and my creative accomplishments.
LIVE BROADCAST

I have been working in Live Production for about three years. Starting out at BaylorVision, I have worked my way up to directing multiple baseball games for ESPN+ in my senior year and have become a valuable asset to the program. I am trained on Abbekas Replay Operating Machine, as well as Tricaster, ATEM, and OBS. Heading into the pandemic, I self-taught how to operate ATEM and OBS for the Kerrville Daily Times liveshow and am now working in the community to bring more live shows that promote young voices and community outreach.
PRODUCING

In my senior year, I had the privilege to be a Producer and a First Assistant Director on multiple student led films, and probably would have done more without the COVID-19 pandemic. Through these films, I have learned how to work in a team as well as how to lead a team through long shoots. My organizational skills were tested and my shoots came out to be successfully run, being complimented by many that "This was the most organized student shoot I've ever been on."
VIDEOGRAPHY

Videography has been a passion of mine since I was nine when my family and I went on a vacation and my father wanted to document the trip via camera. I did not start my videography journey until I reached my freshman year at Baylor as I vlogged my entire freshman year experience, and from that point I was hooked. My video editing and camera shooting skills have increased tremendously within the past four years, with creating videos for BaylorVision, my sorority as well as in Rwanda for a mission trip. There is always room to grow and I am looking forward to expanding my knowledge further in the future.
